Player Profile -Mr Don Purcell
Don bought his first horse for ten shillings when in his early teens, here on the Nambucca. He has lived here since he was about 9 months old. The horses name was Monkey and it was an ex circus pony.He had other horses as he grew up but did not have much to do with them again until polocrosse started on the Nambucca. He  played for couple of years after our first child was born.It was not until our 2nd child was born that we bought a farm out of town and he was able to get horses and teach our 3 children to ride.Don says he now enjoys Team Penning as it is a team sport for all ages.
